A.Changing the Size of the Texts, Images and Videos Appearing on the Screen

You may change the size of images, texts and videos that appear on your screen by using functions of your browser by following the guidelines below :

Chrome

Desktop

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  3. Next to "Zoom," choose the zoom options you want:

    • Make everything larger: Click Zoom in .

    • Make everything smaller: Click Zoom out .

    • Use full-screen mode: Click Full screen .

  1. Make everything larger:

    • Windows and Linux: Press Ctrl and +.

    • Mac: Press ⌘ and +.

    • Chrome OS: Press Ctrl and +.

  2. Make everything smaller:

    • Windows and Linux: Press Ctrl and -.

    • Mac: Press ⌘ and -.

    • Chrome OS: Press Ctrl and -.

  3. Use full-screen mode:

    • Windows and Linux: Press F11.

    • Mac: Press ⌘ + Ctrl + f.

    • Chrome OS: At the top of your keyboard, press the full screen key . This key is also called F4.

Android

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, tap More

  3. Select Accessibility.

  4. Next to “Text scaling,” drag the slider until you can read the example text comfortably.

iPhone&iPad

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome.

  2. At the bottom right, tap More .

  3. Select Zoom text.

  4. At the top of the screen, use the zoom options to:

    • Make everything larger: Tap Zoom in .

    • Make everything smaller: Tap Zoom out .

To make all content bigger;

  1. Open Safari on your Mac.

  2. Choose Safari > Settings for This Website.

  3. Choose an option from the Page Zoom pop-up menu.

or;

  • Choose View > Zoom In.

  • If your trackpads supports gestures, pinch open or close to make the content bigger or smaller.

To specifically enlarge texts;

  • Press Option while you choose View > Make Text Bigger.

iPhone&iPad

You can either;

  • Pinch open or close to make the content bigger or smaller.

or;

  1. Tap AA button on the top left of the screen.

  2. Adjust the text size by tapping the smaller or bigger A on the pop-up menu.

To make all content bigger;

  1. Click the menu button on the right. You will find Zoom Controls at the top.

  2. Use the +button to zoom in, and the - button to zoom out.

  • Press Command and + to zoom in, - to zoom out, or 0 to reset. or;

To specifically enlarge texts;

  1. On the menu at the top, click View, then go to Zoom.

  2. Use the +button to zoom in, and the - button to zoom out.

To specifically enlarge texts;

  1. Press the Altkey to temporarily bring up the traditional Firefox menus for Windows. On the menu at the top, click View, then go to Zoom.

You may also activate the screen reading features by using functions of your operating system by following the guidelines provided below.

MacOS (VoiceOver)

Mac Operating System comes with the screen reader feature Apple has named “VoiceOver”. To activate this feature;

  1. Press Command + F5.

  2. Select “Use VoiceOver”.

or;

  1. Go to System Preferences > Accessibility > VoiceOver.

  2. Check the box labeled “Enable VoiceOver”.

Windows (Narrator)

Windows Operating System comes with the screen reader feature Microsoft has named “Narrator”. To activate this feature;

For Windows 10:

  1. Press the Windows logo key + Ctrl + Enter together to start Narrator.

  2. Press these keys again to stop Narrator.

For Older Versions of Windows:

  1. Press the Windows logo key + Enter together to start Narrator.

  2. Press these keys again to stop Narrator.

or;

  1. Press the Windows logo key + Ctrl + N to open Narrator settings.

  2. Turn on the toggle under Use Narrator.

ChromeOS (ChromeVox)

Chrome Operating System comes with the screen reader feature Google has named “ChromeVox”. To activate this feature;

  • For Chromebooks: Press Ctrl + Alt + z .

  • For Tablets: Press and hold the Volume down + Volume up buttons for 5 seconds.
